Online radio platform iHeartRadio has announced that it has signed up its 50 millionth registered user, reaching the milestone three years after launch.
In a company statement, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, which owns iHeartRadio, claimed that the app had generated registrations quicker than Facebook or Twitter. Including unregistered users, iHeartRadio had more than 97 unique hits in May this year, a record high for the service.
