IMPALA has spoken out about Warner’s recent purchase of the Parlophone Label Group, a move which the independent trade body sees as a positive step in “tackling the duopolisation of the music market”.

IMPALA hope that a bigger Warner will counter balance the market share of Universal and Sony while at the same time widening the gap between the majors and independents.
