IMPALA welcomes EC IP strategy

The new rules, which are designed to strike a balance between promoting creation and innovation and promoting access to goods and services protected by IP, contains proposals for an easier licensing system for orphan works.

The IPR Strategy sets out a series of short- and long-term key policy actions. They include multi-territorial copyright licensing, digital libraries, counterfeiting and piracy.

IMPALA said,
