Independent acts dominate ARIA Awards nominations
The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) has announced the full list of nominees for this year’s ARIA Awards, with Chet Faker leading the way with nine nominations.
The Melbourne artist is up for Best Male Artist and Breakthrough Artist, while his album, Built On Glass, is up for the coveted Album Of The Year as well as Best Independent Release.
His track with labelmate Flume, Drop The Game, is nominated in the Best Dance Release category.
