Independiente chairman Andy Macdonald and A&R director David Boyd are to initially take day-to-day charge of the independent following the departure of managing director Mark Richardson.

Richardson exited the role after more than six years yesterday as he prepares to begin a new life this autumn in Melbourne. The move is being made for purely personal reasons, says Richardson, as his wife hails from Melbourne, while his parents also live there.
