A collective of independent labels have rallied together to pressure major-label owned distribution companies in the US to introduce a new digital rights agreement.

Beggars Group, Secretly Label Group, Domino, Merge and Saddle Creek have formed the Independent Distribution Cooperative (IDC) to push new rules to allow its members to keep their digital distribution rights.
