Indie label NUA Entertainment completes talent search, awards £100k recording contract

Broadcaster UTV Media and indie record label NUA Entertainment last night crowned the winner of their ‘Next Big Thing’ talent search, awarding a £100,000 recording contract in the process.

Pete Gardiner from Belfast beat hundreds of entrants in the singing competition.

The final was held at the Cavern Club in Liverpool and was hosted by legendary UTV presenter Pat Sharp and Juice FM Breakfast host Adam Weighell.
