Influential music therapist Robbins dies at 84

In 1959 Robbins teamed up with Paul Nordoff and pioneered a new way of reaching and engaging disabled children through musical improvisation.

In 1974 the first full-time Nordoff Robbins training programme began with the charity being formally established in 1980. Today Nordoff Robbins is a major music industry charity providing services across the UK to people of all ages with a wide variety of disabilities and illnesses.
