Apple has revealed that the newly revealed iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will be available to buy from Friday, September 20.
The designs can be bought in the US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK at 8:00 a.m. local time at Apple retail stores and at 12:01 a.m. BST at the Apple Online Store.
Priced from £549, the iPhone 5s is billed as the “most forward-thinking smartphone in the world,” with a “remarkable thin and light design.”
New features include the Apple-designed A7 64-bit chip, all-new 8 megapixel iSight camera with True Tone flash and Touch ID – where users can securely unlock the phone with the touch of a finger.
Available in blue, green, pink, yellow and white, the “most colourful iPhone yet” iPhone 5c features an all-new design, with features including a 4-inch Retina display, “blazing fast” performance of the A6 chip, and the 8 megapixel iSight camera. Prices start from £469.
Both models include all-new FaceTime HD cameras an iOS 7 operating system.
