Isle of Wight Festival launches cashless wristbands

The festival is the first multi-day event in the UK to enable revelers to make cashless payments with the same wristband used to gain entry.

The wristbands, provided by manufacturer ID&C, meant thousands of festival-goers could make instant payments at bars, without the need to carry cash.
