Facebook has added iTunes to its Gifts programme meaning that users will be able to send credits for the Apple store to their Facebook friends.

The gift credits come with a digital greeting card and recommendations from the sender or based on the recipient’s ‘Likes’.

The integration is currently being trialed in the US with credit being transferable in amounts of $10, $15, $25 or $50.
