Janet Jackson leaves label

Jackson signed with the label in July 2007. Her only album with Def Jam, Discipline, released in the UK by Mercury on February 25, debuted and peaked at 63 on sales of just 3,914. It has gone on to sell just 9,312 copies to date in the UK.
