Jason Iley named Sony Music UK boss
Former Mercury Records boss Jason Iley has been named Chairman and CEO of, Sony Music UK & Ireland, replacing Nick Gatfield.
Iley will oversee all of Sony Music’s frontline labels in the region, including the U.K. operations of Columbia, Epic and RCA. Iley will be based in London and reports directly to Sony Music CEO Doug Morris, as well as Sony Music International Chairman/CEO Edgar Berger. He will work with recently-promoted Sony Music COO Nicola Tuer.
