Jay Z & Beyonce pip Lucian Grainge to top spot on Billboard's Power 100
The Billboard Power 100 list for 2014 has been revealed with Jay Z and Beyonce pipping Universal's Lucian Grainge to the top spot.
Amongst their career achievements, Billboard notes Jay Z and Beyonce's methods for releasing their most recent solo albums - through bespoke, exclusive deals with Samsung and their mobile handset customers (for 'free'), and iTunes via a 'visual album' package (premium price) respectively.
It also mentioned their business endeavours through Roc Nation and Parkwood Entertainment.
