John Giddings tells tales of the Stones, Bowie and Maiden at first International Festival Forum
David Bowie’s live exile, rolling with the Stones and turning down Iron Maiden were among the revelations from Solo Agency MD’s John Giddings’ keynote at the first International Festival Forum.
Launched by the International Live Music Conference (ILMC), the two-day invitation-only event aimed at festivals and booking agents was held last week across two London venues - Proud Camden and Dingwalls. More than 300 people were in attendance at the gathering, which sold out six weeks in advance.
