Johnny Marr named NME Godlike Genius 2013
Johnny Marr has been announced as the winner of this year's NME Godlike Genius Award.
Marr will collect the award at the NME Awards 2013, taking place on Wednesday February 27 at The Troxy in East London.
After leaving as guitarist of The Smiths in 1987, Marr has continued his career as an official member or touring guitarist for a number of bands including The Pretenders, The The, Electronic, Modest Mouse and The Cribs.
