Justin Bieber is first person to hit 40m Twitter followers
Justin Bieber has become the first person to acquire more than 40 million Twitter followers.
The star has put some distance between himself and Twitter following rival Lady Gaga who currently stands at around 38 million.
To celebrate the occasion, Bieber posted an old tweet from September 28 2009, which said: “wow, just yesterday I had 2 followers, today I have 40! THANKS GUYS!”
