Kobalt hires former Sony exec as SVP Marketing
Kobalt Music Group has named former Sony Music Entertainment exec Ryan Wright as senior vice president, marketing.
Wright was previously SVP of global marketing at Sony Music Entertainment, where he oversaw worldwide marketing campaigns, brand strategy and partnerships from 2008-2011.
Based in New York, Wright will report to Kobalt Music Group president Richard Sanders and work across both of Kobalt’s publishing and label services divisions to build an “aggressive” marketing strategy for both the Kobalt brand and its clients worldwide.
