Lava Records has renewed its partnership deal with Republic Records.
Republic has delivered promotion, marketing, sales, and distribution services for Lava and the partnership thus far has seen success with breaking acts including Jessie J on a worldwide scale and Black Veil Brides in the hard rock scene. Work will continue with these acts as well as Trans-Siberian Orchestra and pop singer Katy Tiz.

Jason Flom founded LAVA in 1995 as a joint venture with Atlantic Records. LAVA artists included such chart-toppers as Kid Rock, The Corrs, matchbox twenty, Uncle Kracker, Simple Plan, Edwin McCain, Sugar Ray and Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Cumulatively, these artists went on to sell in excess of 100 million records during the eight years of the label’s initial existence until 2003 when he was elevated to Chairman and CEO of Atlantic Records.
Through 2008, Flom served as Chairman & CEO of Capitol Music Group, where he signed Katy Perry and oversaw her rise to success. Other breakthrough successes included Corinne Bailey Rae, KT Tunstall, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, 30 Seconds to Mars, Saving Abel and A Fine Frenzy among others.
