Lil Wayne’s legal action against Birdman, aka Bryan Williams, and Cash Money Records has not been dropped, contrary to reports that it had.
The rapper’s lawyer, Ron Sweeney, told Rolling Stone that the lawsuit had been refiled in Louisiana, after initially being launched in NewYork.
Louisiana is where Wayne first signed his deal with Cash Money and New York is the location of Cash Money and parent company Universal Music Group’s offices.
