Limit set on damages LimeWire must pay labels

Reuters reports that Judge Kimba Wood ruled the major record companies and their sub-labels will be entitled to a single statutory damages award per infringed track.

The labels had been seeking a separate fine for every single infringement by a LimeWire user.
