Lionel Richie is the first officially confirmed act for next year's Glastonbury Festival, which takes place June 24-28.
Richie's appearance will be a UK festival debut for the soul singer, who will perform in the Sunday teatime slot on the Pyramid Stage - the same one country star Dolly Parton sang in this year.
