Live Nation revenues up 8.1% in 2012 but net losses almost double

Live Nation posted an 8.1% increase in revenues in 2012 but an overall net loss of $163m - almost double that of 2011.

Revenues across the business hit $5,819m in 2012 compared to $5,384m in 2011. However, Live Nation's net loss nearly doubled year-on-year from $83 million in 2011 to $163 million in 2012.

In 2010, Live Nation's net loss was $228,390.
