Live performance industry contributed $1.51 billion to Australian economy last year

The live performance industry contributed $1.51 billion to the Australian economy in 2014, with more than 18.5 million tickets sold, according to research conducted by Live Performance Australia (LPA).

The research, Ticket Attendance and Revenue Survey 2014, is said to be the most comprehensive survey of ticket sales for Australian live performance events.
