Lloyd-Webber interested in Abbey Road

Lord Lloyd-Webber said yesterday that he would be "very interested" in buying the legendary studios where he made several records.

He is the first individual to come forward as a serious contender to buy Abbey Road, although the National Trust has said that it is "open to the idea" of acquiring the location.
