LoveLive launches new online video distribution platform

Online media company LoveLive is launching a new video distribution platform to help music rights-holders monetise visual content.

L-Platform will provide secure asset management, licencing, distribution and VOD delivery of fully rights-cleared content to a global network of web publishing, media, telco and brand partners.

Content will be served on a licensed, ad-funded, direct-to-consumer or paid placement basis.

L-Player will be the embeddable service of the new platform. Serving ad-supported website and mobile content, Spotify has signed up as its first brand partner - with an exclusive concert series delivered across premium media channels from April 15.
