Labels launch YouTube channel in answer to shrinking music TV opportunities

Record label trade body the BPI is launching a new UK music YouTube channel on November 11 to "fill the void" of what it sees as a lack of opportunities on mainstream TV for young acts.

Transmitter will primarily promote mainstream British music, and has been created by the BPI alongside music media company LoveLive.
