Marco Alboni, managing director and chairman of EMI Music Italy, has left the company.
Alboni started his career in 1992 and has since held posts at EMI, Polygram, Virgin Music and in artist management.
Under his direction, EMI Music has increased its market share in Italy year-on-year and has developed the careers of artists such as Vasco Rossi, Tiziano Ferro and Subsonica.
