Radio presenter Mark Goodier is to leave Smooth Radio after six years at the station.
Goodier will step down from his mid-morning slot in December to spend more time at his own production company Wise Buddah.
“I have very much enjoyed being part of building a new and successful national radio brand and am very proud of what we have been able to do with the show,” said Goodier.
“I have loved being one of a brilliant team and I’m sure that the next few years for Smooth will be exciting. I’m looking forward to having a little more time every day to do other things in media.”
Real and Smooth Limited Group programme director John Simons said: “Mark is one of Britain’s great broadcasters and I’m delighted he’s been a part of the Smooth Radio success story. We will announce a new host for the show in due course.”
Goodier’s radio career gathered speed in 1987 when he joined Radio 1 where he stayed for 15 years.
