Zach Horowitz, UMP chairman & CEO, said: “Martin Ingestrom has been a remarkable presence for UMP in Sweden and the Nordic countries for over 20 years. During that time, he has built the company into an industry powerhouse, with signings that have achieved massive success around the globe.
“Most importantly, he’s never been one to rest on his laurels - today, he’s as hungry for hits and discovering the next great writer as when I first started working with him two decades ago. I couldn’t be prouder to recognize his many accomplishments with this well-deserved promotion.”
President of Europe and UK, UMP Paul Connolly, said: “Martin is a music man through and through. He has a rare combination of music smarts and business acumen that contribute immeasurably to the success of so many of his successful songwriters and artists.”
