Matt Cardle hits No.1 on HMV pre-order chart

Matt Cardle's first album on an independent label has topped HMV's official weekly pre-order chart.

The artist's LP The Fire, due out on So What? Recordings on October 29, has been boosted by an exclusive deal with the retailer which sees a limited number of signed copies of the album sold to customers who pre-order.
