Max Hole named Chairman and CEO, UMG International

Universal Music Group has promoted Max Hole to the position of chairman and chief executive officer of UMG International.

The move took effect on January 1, 2013 and was announced today by group chairman and CEO of UMG Lucian Grainge to whom Hole reports.

Based in London, Hole is a member of UMG's Executive Board and will be responsible for the company's global operations outside the United States.
