Melvin Benn rubbishes 'old people' festival study

Reading and Leeds Festival boss Melvin Benn has hit back at this week's MSN study which claimed that the average festival attendee is now in their mid-30’s.

Using a sample of 2,000 adults, the report said younger fans are being priced out of the market due to the rising costs of tickets, travel, food and drink and camping equipment.
