Michael Eavis to step down from Glastonbury in 2020

Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis has said he will step down from running the festival in 2020 - the event's 50th anniversary.

Eavis also confirmed that 2017 will be its next fallow year, after taking its last break in 2012. "I think I can run on another six years, which would take me up to 50 years," he said. "Then [I'll] see what happens after that."
