Microsoft to 'streamline' music and video, keeping Xbox Music

During Microsoft’s report of its fiscal Q4 performance, CEO Satya Nadella stated that the company expected to streamline “investments in music and video”.

Many took this statement to mean that Microsoft could potentially shut its music streaming service Xbox Music. 

However, Joe Belfiore, Microsoft’s VP for Windows Phone program management & design, clarified Microsoft’s stance on Xbox Music on Twitter.
