Pharrell Williams could be returning to the top of the UK singles chart this weekend after opening up a narrow lead over Pitbull.

His track Happy was just under 1,000 sales ahead of fellow RCA release Timber by Pitbull featuring Kesha by the end of Tuesday, according to the Official Charts Company, with Positiva/PRMD act Avicii's Hey Brother holding at No 3.
