Robbie Williams is fewer than 1,000 sales behind One Direction in the race to top the UK artists albums chart.
Demand for his Island album Swings Both Ways has increased 39% on the week, according to the Official Charts Company, after BBC One last Friday gave a primetime slot to One Night At The Palladium featuring Williams performing songs from the set at the famous London venue.
