Mika draws European success with Cartoon

Mika has made his debut appearance among the IFPI Platinum Awards roll of honour after achieving 1m pan-European sales of Life In Cartoon Motion.

The album was one of 14 releases recognised in the round of awards covering the second quarter of 2007 in a list unusually heavy with non-English recordings.
