Conservative politician Mike Weatherley, seen by many as the music industry's voice in Parliament, has announced his decision to stand down as an MP next year.
The Conservative Member of Parliament for Hove and Portslade, Weatherley was named PM David Cameron's Intellectual Property Adviser in September 2013.
In a letter to Cameron, Weatherley has now confirmed that he will not be re-standing at the General Election in 2015 - but offered his services to continue as IP adviser.
