Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball gets record 19.3m Vevo views in 24 hours
Wednesday, Sep 11th 2013 at 11:55AMMiley Cyrus set a new day one Vevo record with the video for her new single Wrecking Ball hitting 19.3 million views in its first 24 hours after release.
The 20-year-old singer broke the record previously held by the British boy band One Direction for their single Best Song Ever, which received 10.7 million views on its first day in July.
The video was directed by Terry Richardson and shot in Los Angeles.
