Ministry of Sound nightclub founder James Palumbo has been nominated for a peerage by Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg.
According to The Sunday Times, Palumbo has been a supporter and advisor to the Lib Dems since 2004.
The new list of ten peers is expected to be announced in the next fortnight. If chosen, Palumbo will have the right to sit in the House of Lords and take part in debates and votes.
