Ministry of Sound has sent an open letter to Boris Johnson urging the London Mayor to ‘honour his word’ and ensure the club’s safety in the face of a new housing development that could mean its closure.

The letter comes after a long campaign to encourage Johnson to over-rule a planning application to build a block of luxury flats directly opposite the superclub.
