Claude Nobs, the founder and general manager of the Montreux Jazz Festival has died aged 76.
The manager reportedly died Thursday, January 10, after sustaining injuries from a fall whilst cross-country skiing on Christmas Eve.
Nobs enjoyed a long career in the music industry after starting as a chef and director of Montreux's tourism office, where he organized charity concerts.
