More than 100,000 apps for Android

Google recently reported that 160,000 Android-enabled handsets are being sold every day while AndroLib claimed app downloads from Android Market had crossed the 1bn mark by the middle of July.
Apple's App Store has over 225,000 different apps available, with 11,000 specifically for the iPad. In just over two years, it has delivered over 5bn app downloads.
