Most of Apple's iTunes revenue untaxed - report

Apple is not paying tax on most of its iTunes revenue outside of North America, according to tax documents obtained by The ­Australian Financial Review.

Over two thirds of the money made by iTunes for the sale of films and music outside the US flows through iTunes Sàrl, Apple’s holding company in Luxembourg, where the money is not taxable.

The accounts for iTunes Sàrl were leaked following an investigation led by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists.
