YouTube is facing fresh pressure to negotiate fairly with rights holders amidst its standoff with independent labels over royalty rates for its upcoming streaming service.
The Music Publishers Association's (MPA) chief executive Sarah Osborn has voiced the support of the MPA to other voices across the industry in calling on YouTube to negotiate fairly with indie labels without abusing its market dominance.
