Music Week Awards presenter confirmed as Troxy and Promostream sign on as sponsors

The biggest music industry event of the year takes place this week, with two new awards category sponsors and comedian Paul Chowdhry (pictured) set to present the ceremony on Thursday, April 29.

East London venue Troxy will be backing the Live Music Promoter category at the Music Week Awards, while Promostream, a platform to deliver music videos to broadcasters, is sponsoring the Label Or Artist Services Company award.

Atif Malik, events manager, Troxy, said: “The Music Week Awards is one of the most prominent dates in the industry calendar and sponsoring the Live Music Promoter category is our chance to appreciate the companies who play such an integral part in the mechanics of our business.

Promoters not only help venues such as Troxy to schedule an epic lineup of acts throughout the year, but they give fans the opportunity to see their favourite acts live, a service that keeps our industry alive.”

Phil Edmonds, Promostream managing director, commented: “Promostream are very proud to be sponsors of the 44th Music Week Awards this year because as a music video delivery service, we can see first-hand all of the effort that goes into all parties’ work. It’s fantastic that the Music Week Awards recognises excellence throughout the music industry.”
