“BELLA FIGURA are a London based rock-trio. Since forming just over two years ago their sound has developed strongly from their first independently released single, 'Somebody New' - which boasts a blues-based guitar riff and sing-along anthem chorus – to their latest work, 'Demon In The Dark' – showing a real sonic journey, taking the listener to the American west coast. There is no attempt to replicate the great rock bands of the 60s and 70s, but instead their passion lies in pushing the genre forward. There is no doubt about the presence of screaming guitar solos and roaring vocals, however their unique sound comes from balancing these qualities with softer grooves and heart-felt songs. The lyrics are deeply honest, thought-provoking, poetic and powerfully cathartic, leaving the listener emotionally charged. The band is led by Justin Gartry, whose dominant stage presence cannot be denied. The live shows are a real musical journey and not to be missed.”
