I_CON is the latest album released by Dutch natives De Staat and is full of contemporary icons and scammers: quack, bouncers, junkies, talent scouts, covetous and devils. Colorful extras, caught in a mix of African rhythms, gabber, sci-fi-like synths, kick influences and eerie sounds. Where their previous album “Machinery” was a real guitar album, on I_CON we hear dashing synths reminiscent of science fiction movies from the 80s.
