Streets Made Innovators are a London-based music production duo who go under the sobriquet S.M.I. One half of the duo is made up by Leon Vandol, who goes under the stage guise of Vandol and the other half, James Carn who goes under the moniker of Carnage. Together they create a distinctive mix of stripper down funk that draws influence from soul, jazz and rock.
